Weapon Icon.png Weapons are used to defeat the waves of enemies in HoloCure. Each character starts off with a unique starter weapon, and they can obtain a wide variety of extra weapons as the game progresses. The player has 6 weapon slots, one of which is taken by the starting weapon.

Obtaining

When the player gains a Level Up, they can be offered new weapons, along with other random rewards such as Items, StatUps, and Consumables. Selecting a weapon will add it to the player's inventory.

Weapons have three categories based on the type of their attack: MeleeMelee, MultishotMultishot and RangedRanged. Melee attacks follow the character as they move, whereas ranged attack projectiles move independently from the character's position. Multishot attacks fire multiple projectiles and can be affected by projectile count increasing effects.

Upgrading

Weapons can be upgraded to grant them stat increases. Each level of the weapon features a different bonus. Player can upgrade a weapon by selecting it when offered upon a level up, using an Anvil or receiving the upgrade from a Holozon Box.

Weapons have a maximum level of 7, but can be enhanced further using an anvil. Each enhancement will cost HoloCoins. The first upgrade beyond max level will have a 100% chance of success. As you continue to attempt enhancing the weapon further, the cost of HoloCoins will increase and the success rate will decrease by 10%. If an enhancement fails, the coins will be lost.

Awakened

Awakened is a status a Character's main weapon gains when it reaches its maximum level. It grants the weapon unique additional properties and a new sprite. Awakened weapon can be enhanced further with an anvil. The rules are the same as other weapons.

Collab

Two max level weapons can be combined into a single special weapon through a Collab. This will open up a weapon inventory slot, allowing you to pick up an additional weapon.

Damage

All weapons deal damage upon hitting a target. When a target has taken enough damage, they are defeated. The amount of damage dealt per attack depends on the weapon's base damage as well as various buffs on the attacker.

Currently, there is a total of 81 weapons in the game.

Basic weapons

Basic weapons are weapons that can be offered from level ups or Holozon boxes, and are usable by any character. There are 16 basic weapons available in the game.

MultishotMultishot 2 Fires cursed energy in front. On hit, there is a chance to spread another Curse towards another nearby target. Defeat the Spiderchama boss in Stage 3. Available by default.
RangedRanged 3 Shoot a powerful laser beam from the microphone. Horizontal only. Defeat the Fubuzilla boss in Stage 1.
MultishotMultishot 4 Throw a glowstick to a nearby target and then spins back to player. Available by default.

RangedRanged 3 Magical music notes that float vertically in both directions. Survive as IRyS Icon.pngIRyS for 10 minutes in a single run.

MeleeMelee 3 If there are targets nearby, swings a small sausage towards the closest target. Defeat the Area 15 bosses in Stage 4.
MeleeMelee 4 Create an area of miasma around, dealing slow damage to enemies inside. Available by default.

MultishotMultishot 2 Throw a potato that bounces around the screen before exploding into an X. Survive as Inugami Korone for 10 minutes in a single run.

Main Weapons

Main weapons are unique starting weapons that are only usable by the character that has it. All main weapons have a weight of 3. There are 38 main weapons available in the game.

Collabs

Collabs are combinations of two basic weapons. There are 23 collabs available in the game.

Super Collabs

Super Collabs are combinations of Collabs and items. There are 4 super collabs available in the game.

RangedRanged Put on a Special Live! Reduce Special Cooldown by 30%. Whenever activating the special, increase all stats by 50% for 10 seconds (can only activate once per 30 seconds)
RangedRanged Throws delicious grilled lamb all around. Standing inside the Jingisukan areas heals 3 HP per second (Considered as Food heal). Also increase Max HP by 100.
RangedRanged Freeze everything around, dealing constant damage. Also increase Crit chance by 20%.
