Oozora Police is a reference to a running series of streams where Subaru asks for fan input for investigations on the comedic misdeeds of other hololive members.[5] The series first started as a Minecraft stream where Subaru would tour the hololive Minecraft server to look for suspicious activities[6] before morphing into a public court case where her chat would judge various hololive members for misdeeds submitted by that member's fans.
Sunny Optimism is a reference to her generally sunny disposition, while her skill's functionality might be alluding to her tenacity relating to real-life occurrences she has openly shared prior to joining hololive, such as being born with a hole in her heart (Ventricular Septal Defect), surviving a traffic accident, and her house burning down.[7]
