Overview and Tips

Roboco is a ranged combat character whose specialty lies not in her long-ranged precision attacks, but rather in her experience: Roboco's kit all focus around gaining bonus EXP Icon.pngEXP for leveling up to directly gain additional combat powers. This makes Roboco the character with the fastest leveling system in the game which, when combined with EXP-boosting items and consumables, allows her to potentially reach level 100 even in 20-minute Stage Runs. Aside from giving her a significant advantage when it comes to acquiring fully-leveled weapons and items, this makes her one of the characters more easily able to get Super Collabs before reaching the 10-minute mark and be able to stack up on permanent stat-ups much earlier.

While Robo-Discharge Icon.pngRobo-Discharge does give Roboco good crowd-control ability in the early levels due to the speed at which she levels up, this becomes less reliable at higher levels even with its damage scaling. With no other defensive abilities, Roboco has to rely solely on her equipment and later permanent stat-ups to improve her survivability.

Roboco is the only character whose starting weapon has a different type when Awakened, changing from a MultishotMultishot weapon to a RangedRanged single-shot weapon. This not only affects the weapon's ability to deal crits, but also alters its interactions with certain items and Stamps. In particular, stamps like the Projectile Up Stamp Icon.pngProjectile Up Stamp that benefit Hi-Spec Pistol Icon.pngHi-Spec Pistol up to Level 6 will stop working on an Hi-Spec Pistol Awakened Icon.pngAwakened Hi-Spec Pistol.

Trivia

  • In the preview version for 0.4 played by Takanashi Kiara, Hi-Spec Pistol Icon.pngHi-Spec Pistol's name was missing.[1]
  • Hi-Spec Pistol Icon.pngHi-Spec Pistol, Hi-Spec Mode Icon.pngHi-Spec Mode, and to lesser extent Hi-Level Icon.pngHi-Level all reference Roboco's self-proclaimed status as a Hi-Spec Robot, a status that is commonly disputed by her fans.[2]
  • Roboco's portrait image is the only one that does not match any of her in-game outfits; her glasses are missing, while the "pink hoodie" outfit wears them in-game.
