Natsuiro Matsuri is a playable character in HoloCure: Save the Fans!. She belongs to the group JP Gen 1 and is unlocked through the Character Gacha. Her Main Weapon is Ebifrion, her Special Attack is WASSHOI!, and she has three other unique skills: GOD, Seiso Representative, and Cheerleader.

Matsuri, alongside the rest of JP Gen 1 and JP Gen 2, was released in Version 0.5.

Enemies' movement speed is slowed by 70% while active.
Player must hit the special button when the white circles overlap with the drum to create sound waves.
Soundwaves deal damage to all enemies on screen and knock them back.

Trivia

Ebifrion is Matsuri's mascot - a hugging pillow. Its name is a pun combining "Ebifurai" (tl; "fried shrimp") and "Raion" (transliteration of "Lion" in Japanese)
WASSHOI! is a Japanese word typically used in chants and cheers to synchronize movement in groups, such as when playing instruments like the Taiko drum, the instrument referenced in the Special attack.
- The choice of Taiko drum as Matsuri's Special attack is based off her streams' intro sequence, where she is shown to be playing one.
- Matsuri associating with summer festival comes from the fact her name literally translates to Summer Colored Festival. However, Matsuri had admitted that she actually dislike summers and prefer winter instead.^[1]
The GOD skill gets it's name from a popular Matsuri meme where she is treated as (a) god. It originated from one of her Apex Legend streams where she tried to tell her overseas viewers that she is strong in said game, but was unable to remember the direct English translation of "strong", so she opted to describe herself as a "god" in the proverbial sense, considering it the closest English word she knew to what she was trying to convey; however, she didn't account for the fact that English has articles (unlike Japanese) and that there's a crucial semantic difference between calling oneself "God" versus "a god", creating the iconic line "I'm GOD, okay?".^[2]
- Matsuri tends to make wild English proclamations especially when she is playing competitive games such as the time she said "I AM HOLOLIVE" during a Mario Kart stream and challenging management and Yagoo to stop her.^[3]^[4]
- The skill's effect is could be based on a popular short animation by fan-artist Harutimu where she summons a giant divine death beam^[5] although it could be based on the general concept of divine smite.
Cheerleader is based on Matsuri's lore where she is a rookie highschool cheerleader.^[6]
Seiso Representative is based on Matsuri's self-proclaimed title of being Hololive's Seiso (清楚, pure) Representative despite her reputation for sexual jokes^[7] and overt skinships.^[8]
- Matsuri did admit that it's was something she did for content and that she has mostly toned down on such joke and shenanigans although it doesn't mean she will completely stop.^[9]
