Bounce Ball is a basic weapon in HoloCure - Save the Fans!. It is unlocked by completing the Boing Icon.pngBoing achievement, which requires reaching 10 minutes in any Stage using a flat character with the Cutting Board Icon.pngCutting Board equipped. Players will receive the achievement whether they win or lose the run.

Bounce Ball periodically drops a ball on a random on-screen target, which deals damage and can bounce to damage more targets. The size of the bounce ball varies between characters.

  1. The values in the game code actually range from 0 – 4, which is also used by Kay Yu when referring to these values in social media. (This is because in most programming languages, numbering and indexing starts from zero (0), not one (1).) Using a 1 – 5 scale has however become customary in the community, so to avoid confusion the values on the wiki will be displayed using this scale.

Trivia

  • The Bounce Ball sizes reference the relative sizes of the characters' breasts.
    • To further reinforce this, the characters with a ball size of 1 are also the ones to receive the Flat character bonus.
  • This item is a reference to the "boing-boing" meme, coined by former hololive talent Uruha Rushia in response to being teased about her flat chest. "Boing-boing" proceeded to spread to other branches and is used to reference talents with noticeable chest physics, much like how the balls are most effective when used by the most well-endowed cast.
    • This item's appearance is based off a typical exercise ball, which is used in physical workouts.
