Spider Cooking

Spider Cooking is a basic weapon in HoloCure: Save the Fans!. It is unlocked by default.

Spider Cooking creates an area of miasma around the player, periodically dealing minor damage to nearby enemies.

Spider Cooking is affected by the area increase of Knightly Milk.
Spider Cooking is unaffected by Haste.
- Spider Cooking has an attack time minimum of 10 seconds, meaning that only one area can be active at a time, as its duration is also 10 seconds. As such, how often an enemy can be hit is determined by hit cooldown, which is not reduced by haste like attack time.

Trivia

It is a reference to Akai Haato's infamous cooking skits, which involves her "experimenting" with all aspects of cooking, from weird ingredients to "unconventional" cooking techniques. The namesake of the weapon came from an episode where she cooked and ate a pre-packaged tarantula on a livestream.^[1]
- The Haachama cooking series is part of the larger "Australian Arc", where Haato, then residing in Australia, was forced to focus more on video contents instead of livestreaming due to limitations related to slow internet speed. The arc consist of increasingly weird and unhinged vlog-esque videos as she slowly embrace her Haachama nickname, which itself became a larger persona with its own story arc. She would later rename her channel to "Haachama Ch."
- Haachama has since toned down on these type of content^[2] and now uploads proper, edible-looking cooking videos, albeit still using the fast-paced, unhinged editing as before.^[3]
