Version 0.6 is the fourth major version of HoloCure, and the first to be released on Steam. This update added the members of Hololive Indonesia, the Holo House, the Leaderboard, Super Collabs, two new Stages, and a number of new weapons, items, and collabs.

Fixing some more bugs and crashes lads.

  • Fixed not loading backup saves properly and game crashing if data is corrupted. Previously, the backup file was not being loaded properly, leading to a crash.
    • If your save has been corrupted, the backup save will try to be loaded
    • If your save AND your backup save is corrupt, the game will start from the beginning.
    • If your settings file is corrupt, settings will reset to default.

CHANGES
  • Game is now built with YYC, improving game performance.

  • Reroll algorithm has been adjusted. After rerolling, the weights of Weapons and Items that were offered previously are reduced, which makes them appear less until the next level up.
  • The calculation for weapon damage boosts from Enhancing and Growth has been adjusted. When Base weapon damage is increased via enhancing or Growth, the increase is evenly distributed among the amount of projectiles for the attack.
    • (Example, +2 base weapon after Enhancing Level 7 Piercing Feather (4 projectiles) is an increase of +0.5 base damage per feather.)
    • Growth now also has reduced effect when the attack's hit cooldown is (strictly) lower than 20.[Undocumented]
  • Fandom system rework.[Undocumented]
    • Instead of reaching milestones to increase Fandom level, the player gains Fandom EXP for beating stages and getting G-Ranks.
    • Hard Stages and beating a Stage for the first time give more Fandom EXP.
  • Growth now has 3 levels, each rank adding 1% damage.[Undocumented]
  • Playing for the first time shows a small tutorial about aiming with mouse or controller. [Undocumented]
