HoloCoin

HoloCoins are the currency in HoloCure - Save the Fans!, which can be used in the Shop to pull for characters in Character Gacha, and to buy Upgrades. They can also be used to enchant or enhance weapons in-game beyond their max level, using anvils, and to purchase farming equipment and furniture in Holo House.
Obtaining
HoloCoins can appear as pickups on the ground, and can be collected by the player character or their summons (such as Bubba and
Friend). Enemies have a 1/90 chance to drop a HoloCoin pickup with a value of 10 HoloCoins when defeated. Item Crates, randomly spawning in stages, have a chance to drop multiple HoloCoins when destroyed.
HoloCoins can also be directly awarded to the player. Upon Level Up, there is a chance to be offered an option for +100 HoloCoins when the player has fully slotted and maxed out either their weapons or items, and when the player maxed out both, the fourth level up option will always offer HoloCoins. Bosses and most mini-bosses, when defeated, drop Holozon Boxes, which reward a random amount of HoloCoins when opened, ranging from 72 to 333 HoloCoins. Similarly to level ups, Holozon Boxes can also offer the +100 HoloCoins option when the player's inventory is getting full. HoloCoins are also rewarded after completing a stage, based on the number of coins collected during the run.
The following items and effects can also be used to directly gain HoloCoins or increase the amount of HoloCoins gained:
- A stage's HoloCoin multiplier, shown when selecting a stage, increases the amount of all HoloCoin gained during the run.
- The
Stolen Piggy Bank item grants a small speed buff and generates HoloCoins based on distance traveled at the cost of reduced pick up range
- The
Halu item grants additional HoloCoins based on the amount of enemies defeated after obtaining the item, but also increases the amount of enemies spawned and makes them stronger.
- The
Super Chatto Time! item increases the amount of coins gained from HoloCoin pickups dropped by defeated enemies. It does not affect any other source of HoloCoins.
- The
Money Gain Up shop upgrade increases the amount of HoloCoins gained from all sources, except Halu.
- The
Greed Stamp grants a chance for targets to drop a small amount of HoloCoin pickups when hit by the character's main weapon.
- The
Fruit Sandwich dish causes the enemies to drop 30% more HoloCoins in the next 5 runs.
Pavolia Reine's special attack,
5x Tonjok, knocks a small amount of HoloCoin out of targets hit by it.
Ayunda Risu's skill,
DLC, generates HoloCoins over time.
Trivia
- In the first public version of the game, it was possible to acquire large amounts of HoloCoins by staying in the Holozon Box opening animation without skipping it. This was fixed in a later update which made the Holozon Box opening animation finish without player input.
