Stamp
Stamps are drops that provide various perks to the character's Main Weapon. To access stamps, the player must first purchase the Stamps upgrade from the Shop for 500 HoloCoins. Once unlocked, there is a chance that enemies drop a stamp on the ground when defeated.
Mechanics
All enemies have a 1/780 chance to drop a stamp when they are defeated. Additionally, Silver YAGOOs are guaranteed to drop a stamp upon being defeated. When a stamp is found and picked up, it automatically pulls up the stamps menu, where the following actions can be done to a found stamp:
- Equip it to the Main Weapon, or swap it with an already equipped stamp. Only the character's Main Weapon benefits from the stamp.
- Consume it to strengthen an already equipped stamp. The consumed stamp will not appear again for the duration of the battle. Depending on its maximum level, stamps can be strengthened up to two times.
- Sell the stamp for a number of HoloCoins. The sold stamp will not appear again for the duration of the battle.
- Drop the stamp (without destroying it) by pressing "Finish" with the stamp still in the Found box. The stamp can then be picked up later. Stamps will retain their level when dropped.
Stamps can also be accessed and managed from the pause menu. Equipped stamps will have their icons appear on the upper left corner of the screen, to the right of the HP bar and the Item and Weapon icons.
Up to three stamps can be equipped to a weapon at a time and each stamp, excluding Projectile Up Stamp, can be strengthened to a maximum level of 3. The amount of HoloCoins gained from selling a stamp is affected by the level of the stamp, the stage's coin multiplier and the Money Gain Up shop upgrade.
Note that using an upgraded stamp to strengthen another stamp will still only increase the level by 1.
