Trivia

  • Cleaning Broom Icon.pngCleaning Broom and Cleaning Maid Icon.pngCleaning Maid refers to Aqua's bio where she is a Marine Maid.[1]
  • Neko as originally drawn by Aqua
NEKO Icon.pngNEKO is Aqua's crudely drawn mascot and was originally created due to her being jealous of other cat owners among her (small) social group. [2]
    • A better drawn but still derpy version of Neko is used as her all purpose mascot appearing as her army of helpers. [3]
  • Klutz Icon.pngKlutz, Cleaning Maid Icon.pngCleaning Maid crit damage in range effect and Cleaning Broom Icon.pngCleaning Broom's attack pattern reference Aqua's inability to do any housework despite her being a maid. Aqua has an entire song dedicated to this inconsistency as well as her alternative title Nekomimi Gamer Marine Maid.[4]
    • Cleaning Maid Icon.pngCleaning Maid was originally named Gamer Maid but was changed by Kay as the name does not match the effect or the rest of Aqua's in-game representation.[5]
  • Sololive Icon.pngSololive is a popular nickname of Aqua due to her infamous introversion and social anxiety which tends to manifest as her playing solo even in normally cooperative games such as Minecraft, ARK and Apex Legends.
  • Aqua's HP being 44.5 is a reference to a Wii Fit stream where she accidentally revealed her weight (44.5 kg ≈ 98.1 lbs). The number became a code for Aqua and is spammed by her fan to reference her.[6]
    • As of Version 0.5, Aqua currently has the lowest base HP of all the characters ingame.

The Cleaning Maid skill I was gonna call Gamer Maid, but calling it gamer didn't really make sense with how her character played, like "what's gamer about her gameplay?". Cleaning as a mechanic made more sense.”
