Kay Yu is the creator and lead developer of HoloCure: Save the Fans!. Prior to creating HoloCure, Kay Yu has been known in the community for his short fan animations, which have many times been used as stream intro/ending sequences by the featured talents themselves. He has also animated the MV for Calliope Mori's and Gawr Gura's original song, Q.

Outside of the Hololive community and HoloCure, Kay Yu is notable for his works as an animator for WayForward as well as several major anime, listed below.
