Alongside the rest of HoloCouncil, HoloMyth and IRyS, Sana is one of the 11 characters available in Version 0.3 - the first public version of the game.
Only affected by "all area" bonuses, which are currently only granted by Knightly Milk and Speaker of Space itself; Other area bonuses such as size increase via enchantment or from weapon upgrades do not grant bonus damage. Size Up Stamp does not grant bonus damage either.
Area bonus stacks additively with the bonus from Knightly Milk.
The weapons and skills affected by the area bonus are the same as with Knightly Milk.
Knightly Milk is one of the most important items that can be used on Sana, as its area-enhancing effect directly increases Sana's damage output via the Speaker of Space skill.
As one of the characters with the lowest critical hit stats, and as a character with no skills that benefit from critical hits, Sana can use Gorilla's Paw to greatly improve her attack damage without a significant loss in damage output from the item's critical hit penalty.
Sana is one of two playable characters based on retired Hololive members, the other being Yozora Mel.
She left Hololive on July 31, 2022, a month after HoloCure's initial release.
Orbit is a reference to Sana's design-lore where she is as large as the sun when she is in her true Beeg form. The choice of using Saturn in the skill's icon comes from Sana's Oshi mark being the Saturn emoji 🪐.[1]
Become Beeg is based on Sana's ability to switch between her Human size and her Galactic "Beeg" Size through the removal of her Limiter.[1]
The Japanese kanji in the icon of Become Beeg skill is the character "大" (dai), which has the core meaning of "big".
The term "Beeg" is based on the specific way Sana pronounce "big" where she intentionally stretches the sound with her Australian accent.
Gravity skill references both her control over space and also the fact that her true size is on planetary scale and the gravitational pull she has at that size.
At her debut, Sana's decision to remove her limiter caused the entire solar system to deorbit and destroy itself. Thankfully, the damage was fixed by Kronii.[3]
Astrology references her general interest in astrology and astronomy.
Sana, along with Nanashi Mumei, are tied for the lowest base ATK in the game, at 0.8.
