Hoshimachi Suisei
Hoshimachi Suisei is one of the playable characters in HoloCure - Save the Fans!. She belongs to the group JP Gen 0 and can be unlocked through the Character Gacha. Her Main Weapon is
Axe Swing, her Special Attack is
Summon Blocks, and she has three other unique skills:
Blocks Master,
Stellar, and
Suicopath.
Suisei, alongside the rest of JP Gen 0 and GAMERS, was added to the game in Version 0.4.
Main Weapon
- Main article: Axe Swing
- Axe Swing is affected by the area increase of
Knightly Milk. - At Level 7, Axe Swing can deal a total of 600% damage per hit.
Special Attack
- Summon Blocks is unaffected by the area increase of
Knightly Milk. - Flattened targets cannot move, but can still deal damage to Suisei.
- Projectiles last 2 seconds on-screen and can hit the same target only one time during their "lifetime".
- Even when projectiles have stopped falling and dropped on the ground, targets can still take damage and be Flattened upon hit.
- Projectiles may have different numbers of blocks (1, 2, or 3). This only affects the projectile's size (as well as hitbox); damage will remain the same.
- Have a 33.33% chance to have 1 block, 33.33% to have 2, and 33.33% to have 3.
- Summon Blocks is flagged as a Skill. As a result, it benefits from the
Beetle and the
Skill Up shop upgrade. It still also benefits from
Focus Shades.
Skills
- Flattened targets cannot move, but can still deal damage to Suisei.
- Flattened effect has a 5 second duration, the same as
Summon Blocks'. - Projectiles last 2 seconds on-screen and cannot hit the same target more than one time in less than 0.5 second.
- Projectiles ricochet in a random direction and arc downwards (seemingly affected by gravity) upon reaching the hit limit, which is 7 enemies. Ricocheting projectiles can hit up to 3 more enemies before ricocheting again. The second ricochet is nothing different from the first.
- In short, projectiles can ricochet twice, and hit a maximum number of 13 enemies.
- While ricocheting, projectiles can still apply Flattened on targets hit.
- If the projectile makes a critical hit, it can roll the current percentage of Blocks Master to trigger it one more time on the target hit's location.
- Projectiles may have different numbers of blocks (1, 2, or 3). This only affects the projectile's size (as well as hitbox); damage will remain the same.
- Level 1: Projectiles have a 100% chance to have 1 block.
- Level 2: Projectiles have a 50% chance to have 1 block, 50% chance to have 2.
- Level 3: Projectiles have a 33.33% chance to have 1 block, 33.33% to have 2, and 33.33% to have 3.
- Stellar's duration is refreshed whenever Suisei makes another critical hit.
- The damage from Stellar is displayed as a critical hit, but it is not treated as one. This means it cannot trigger
Blocks Master, refresh Stellar's ATK buff, or trigger its damage effect (using its own damage for calculation to deal the same damage one more time). This is intended behavior. - Stellar's damage inherits Suisei's critical damage modifier (for display purposes only). If she is having equal or more than 50% bonus critical hit damage (currently the only way to do this is to have a max leveled
Hope Soda), Stellar's damage will be displayed in orange like all of her critical hits.
- However, it does not actually inherit this from weapons with critical damage modifiers of their own. For example, if Suisei would trigger Stellar through an
Awakened Axe Swing, which always displays its damage in red, Stellar's damage would still be displayed in its default color yellow, or orange if the aforementioned condition is met.
- However, it does not actually inherit this from weapons with critical damage modifiers of their own. For example, if Suisei would trigger Stellar through an
- Suicopath's duration is refreshed whenever Suisei defeats a new target.
- "Axe-related weapons" include
Axe Swing, as well as
Psycho Axe and its Collabs:
BL Fujoshi,
Blood Lust,
Crescent Bardiche, and
MiComet.
- Interestingly,
BL Fujoshi's books and
MiComet's lava pools can also trigger Suicopath's healing effect even though they are not axe-like weapons.
- Interestingly,
Other effects
Flat character bonus
Hoshimachi Suisei is affected by the Flat character bonus of
Cutting Board, and the reduced bonus for
Absolute Wall and
Flattening Board, increasing their projectiles' size.

Trivia
Suicopath makes Suisei currently the character that can reach the highest amount of
CRT without items and shop upgrades in the game, which is 50%.
- With fully upgraded
Crit Up in the Shop, max level in the Fandom System (Gachikoi), every Fan Letter that gives Crit chance, and the Legendary Lens from Usada Casino, this will be 70%.
Roboco-san's
Hi-Level is not taken into this comparison due to its slow scaling speed.
- With fully upgraded
- The axe as her main weapon and the symbol of her
Suicopath skill originate from a stream of the werewolf game Project Winter, where Suisei, whenever getting the role of Traitor, would massacre the Survivor teams, often times winning against multiple opponents with her signature weapon being the axe. This reputation of brutality would manifest in any PvP capable game she plays from Among Us to Rust.[1]
- Like
Psycho Axe,
Axe Swing is also based on a real emote by Suisei, although neither design resembles Suisei's original.
- Like
Stellar likely references Suisei's original song Stellar Stellar, Still Still Stellar album, and her Stellar into the Galaxy concert, or simply her Diva-like singing voice.- Both
Blocks Master and
Summon Blocks are references to Suisei's incredible Tetris skill.[2][3] - As Suisei's model was originally created by herself, her status as a flat character is self-inflicted. This is because Suisei did not want her audience to focus too much on those kinds of aspects of her design. This does not mean she takes kindly to
Cutting Board jokes.[4] - Suisei is the only character with an alternate-outfit sprite wielding a different weapon than her regular. This is purely cosmetic, though.
