When Awakened, there is a 25% chance per hit to leave a burning fire on the ground, at the target's location.
Burning fires last 5 seconds and deal 20% damage per hit. They inherit the rest of their properties from the current level of Trailblazer, including increased damage from Skill Up and Beetle.
Triggering a fire has a 5 frame (0.08 s) internal cooldown.
The multihit property reduces the hit cooldown of the attack, allowing enemies that remain in the weapon's hit area to be hit periodically; every 5 frames (0.08 s) at level 5 and every 4 frames (0.07 s) when Awakened.
Because the hitbox of Phoenix Sword accurately matches the VFX and it lingers longer in some areas, the amount of times you can hit an enemy varies.

Overview and Tips
Kiara is arguably the most beginner-friendly character of the starting roster. This is as a result of her being something of a Jack-of-All-Trades and being able to cover multiple key aspects with only her skills. With Trailblazer increasing SPD and hindering enemies from following her, Dancer providing consistent healing and increases to both ATK and SPD, Phoenix Shield mitigating damage, and even Phoenix Fire allowing her to cheat death, Kiara is a safe pick that's very easy to use.
The multihit property of Phoenix Sword reduces the hit cooldown, allowing enemies that remain in the weapon's hit area to be hit periodically. Because the hitbox accurately matches the visual effect and it lingers longer in some areas, you can get more hits on a target by aligning the slash so that target is on its right-hand edge/tip.
Trailblazer can be used most effectively against mini-bosses and bosses by performing zigzagging or spiraling movements while slowly retreating away from them. This exposes the enemies to a denser cluster of flames, thus making them take more damage.
In a pinch, a fully charged Phoenix Shield (combined with Kiara's high health) can be used to bulldoze past small enemy groups in order to keep moving and thus maintain the attack bonuses from Dancer.
Trailblazer now has an added effect to increase Kiara's speed by 10%, up to 20%.
Dancer now also heals Kiara by 5% HP every 5 seconds.
Dancer no longer resets back to 0% on stopping, instead slowly decreases stacks if stopped.
After using Phoenix Fire, Kiara gains "Immortal Phoenix" buff for 15 seconds. If Kiara's HP reaches 0 with this buff, Kiara consumes the buff and fully heals. (This does not count as a defeat)
Trailblazer now has an added effect to increase Kiara's speed by 10%, up to 20%.
Slow amount reduced from 50% to 30% and duration reduced from 5 to 3 seconds.[Undocumented]

After using Phoenix Fire, Kiara gains "Immortal Phoenix" buff for 15 seconds. If Kiara's HP reaches 0 with this buff, Kiara consumes the buff and fully heals. (This does not count as a defeat)
Kiara has the second-highest base health value among the roster, at 90HP. She held the top spot for highest base health until the release of version 0.7'sShirogane Noel, who has a base health value of 100HP.
Dancer's skill effect likely references Kiara's abundant energy, which tends to appear when she dances.[1] Kiara is likely the most proficient dancer in HoloMyth due to her past experience working in the Japanese entertainment/idol industry.
The concepts for Phoenix Fire, Shark Call, and The Reaper are likely based on the popular Myth's Bad End (formerly known as "HoloMyth vs Ina") fan animation by @Mazumaro, although Kiara's special only references the visual design.[2]
