Hope Soda

Hope Soda is an item in HoloCure - Save the Fans!. It is unlocked by completing the Hope has Descended! achievement, which requires clearing a stage with IRyS.

Hope Soda improves critical hit damage, but increases the cooldown for the Special Attack.

Level 1

Increase critical hit damage 10% and increase Special cooldown by 25%.

Level 2

Increase critical hit damage 20% and increase Special cooldown by 25%.

Level 3

Increase critical hit damage 30% and increase Special cooldown by 25%.

Level 4

Increase critical hit damage 40% and increase Special cooldown by 25%.

Level MAX

Increase critical hit damage 50% and increase Special cooldown by 25%.

Super Hope Soda

Level MAX

Increase critical hit damage by 50%. Every 10th hit is guaranteed to be a Critical Hit.

Behavior

• If the Special gauge is already filled and ready to use when this item is acquired, the yellow bar will shrink to denote the gauge increasing in size, requiring the gauge to fill up again before it can be used.
• Kusogaki Shackles reduces this item's Special cooldown increase, completely negating it at max level.

Tips

• Hope Soda works well alongside the GWS Pill since the slower Special charge offers more time for GWS's CRT bonus to apply.
  • And obviously, the CRT bonus makes this item's increase to CRT Damage more significant.

Irys 2nd room background; note the soda fridge behind chat.

• The item is based on a stream prop belonging to IRyS, whose favorite drink is soda. The prop was introduced as part of IRyS's new Room Background, which included a whole soda fridge and assets to use on her table.
  • Hope Soda is a central mechanic of Delivering Hope, a popular IRyS fangame, that helps the player control a flying chibi IRyS.
