Blacksmith's Gear

Blacksmith's Gear is an item in HoloCure - Save the Fans!. It is unlocked by completing the Please Don't Fail achievement, which requires enhancing a weapon once. Players will receive the achievement whether they win or lose the run in which they did the enhancement.

Blacksmith's Gear allows regular Anvils to be used twice. Upgrading it further will make enhancements on weapons more powerful.

Level 1

Normal anvils can be used twice. Only applies to anvils since taking this item.

Level 2

Normal anvils can be used twice. Weapon enhancements increase damage by 2.5 instead of 2 per level.

Level MAX

Normal anvils can be used twice. Weapon enhancements increase damage by 3 instead of 2 per level.

Blacksmith's Gear only works on Anvils that spawn after the player acquires the item. Any unused Anvils on the field that spawned before getting the item will still only be usable once.
The item's effect works by not removing the Anvil from the field after using it once. The player will still be returned to the game after performing an action with the Anvil, requiring players to touch the Anvil a second time to use it again.
Unlike with the number of Anvil uses, the damage increase for weapon enhancements is retroactive.

Blacksmith's Gear is best used alongside the Credit Card to improve the chances of Anvils appearing, as well as reduce the cost of Enhancements.
Kaela Kovalskia works very well with this item due to her The Blacksmith skill, which has a chance to create usable Anvils by defeating enemies.
