Beetle

Beetle is an item in HoloCure - Save the Fans!. It is unlocked by completing the Skill Issue achievement, which requires clearing any stage without having any Character Skills (i.e. with Fandom disabled) during a run.
Beetle increases the damage done by Character Skills.
Upgrades
Level 1
Increase damage of any Character Skill attacks by 33%. Increase it by a further 1.5% for each player level.
Level 2
Increase damage of any Character Skill attacks by 66%. Increase it by a further 1.5% for each player level.
Level MAX
Increase damage of any Character Skill attacks by 100%. Increase it by a further 1.5% for each player level.
Behavior
The Beetle works by increasing the damage done by player skills by the percent specified in the description. This means that at max level, the Beetle will effectively double the damage dealt by skills.
Tips
- The item is best used on characters who use a skill as their primary damage source, such as
Ceres Fauna and
Aki Rosenthal. It is also effective on characters who have multiple skills that do damage, such as
Moona Hoshinova and
Kobo Kanaeru.
- Skills often use a character's
ATK stat as a base for damage. As a result, the Beetle's damage boost will stack multiplicatively with items that boost a character's ATK stat, such as
Membership and
Raven Feather.
- While the achievement mentions "Fandom off", it is not actually necessary to turn off the Fandom system to accomplish the achievement; a character that has not achieved at least Oshi rank can also qualify for the achievement.
- To more easily accomplish the
Skill Issue achievement, players can use the "Eliminate" function on Level Up to remove any Character Skills that appear, thus preventing the player from getting them.
History
