The handle part of the scythe's hitbox has a smaller arc than the blade part, leaving a small space nearby to the sides where enemies cannot be hit.
Area/range increases scale up Scythe Swing's hitbox as whole, also increasing the range of the dead zone to the sides.
Scythe Swing is affected by the area increase of Knightly Milk.
"KO" property of the awakened form is an effect capable of instantly defeating an enemy regardless of their remaining HP. This effect does NOT work on Bosses however.

Applies a bonus damage taken debuff to targets in the area. This stacks additively with other debuffs of the same type.
At level 3 applies a critical hit vulnerability debuff to targets in the area. This stacks additively with other debuffs of the same type and the character's critical hit chance.
As opposed to the description, the vulnerability debuff is actually 20% instead of 10%.
A thin red circle with a pulsing smaller inner circle will appear once the ability is unlocked, denoting the skill's active area. Only the outer circle denotes the area, with the smaller circle being used for visibility.

The explosions can be triggered recursively, causing a cascading effect of explosions if there are enough enemies in the area.

When active, a purple bubble-like aura will appear around Calliope, which will become more visible as more charges are gained.
Enemies that get close behind can be sometimes difficult to deal with due to the limited area of the handle part of the swing, making Headphones a useful item on Calliope, as it can knockback enemies to a range where they can be hit by the wider arc of the blade part.
Scythe Swing or specifically Scythe Swinging Lesson is used by Calli as a euphemism for her previous day job before her channel was monetized. The job involved teaching children how to "swing a scythe". Due to the way Calli communicates in English with Japanese members and the way she sets up her Eikaiwa/English Lesson streams implies she has experience as an English language teacher. [1]
Calli has since quit that job to free up time to make more contents, particularly music.
Work-a-holic and the fact that players unlock Energy Drink by playing Calli reference her infamous off-stream work habits especially when it comes to her music.
The concept for Shark Call, Phoenix Fire and The Reaper is likely based on the popular Myth's Bad End (formerly known as HoloMyth vs Ina) fan animation by @Mazumaro,[2]
