Amane Kanata

Amane Kanata is one of the playable characters in HoloCure - Save the Fans!. She belongs to the group JP Gen 4 (Force) and can be unlocked through the Character Gacha. Her Main Weapon is Angel Shuriken, her Special Attack is Celestial Song, and she has three other unique skills: Angelic & Gorillic Power, 50kg Grip, and Voice of Heaven.

Kanata, alongside the rest of JP Gen 4 (Force) and JP Gen 3 (Fantasy), was added to the game in Version 0.7.

Trivia

• Angel Shuriken is based on Kanata's unique angel halo that her fans memed, calling it a shuriken, a joke that even her artist would play along with.
• 50kg Grip and the "gorillic" part of Angelic & Gorillic Power are references to Kanata's real-life grip strength similar to the Gorilla's Paw item.
  • The nickname was something long associated with Kanata even before she debuted in Hololive with her being called Gorilla since middle school when it was revealed that her grip strength was "just" 35kg.. After joining Hololive, it became a running joke again as she demonstrated her incredible grip to her viewers and fellow talents including frequent "manual" crushing of potatoes and other members hands. Kanata would later fully embraced the reputation, making it an official part of her opening catchphrase: "Hey, KonKanata! My catchphrase is 'My grip strength is 50kg'. I'm going to crush your hand. Hololive 4th Generation Member, I'm Amane Kanata!"
• Angel Shuriken, Celestial Song, Voice of Heaven and the angelic half of Angelic & Gorillic Power are all references to her lore where Kanata is an angel from the Celestial Academy..
  • Celestial Song and Voice of Heaven in particular also pay homage to Kanata's singing prowess.
• Like the other members of the Flat "boing boing" category, Kanata's has been on the receiving end of many flat joke by fans and other members alike. Unique to Kanata however is the fact that her's artist mama, Oshio, also plays along with several threats made about burning down either the Hololive Office or Cover's billion yen Studio whenever Kanata appeared with non-canonically sized breasts.
• As of version 0.7, Kanata has the lowest base CRT of any character in the game, at 0%.
  • This also makes Kanata the only character in the game to have an empty UI bar for any stat on the character select screen.
